CarterWill Search is seeking a Corporate Associate to join an AmLaw firm’s Real Estate Practice in Costa Mesa, San Diego, Los Angeles, New York, or Chicago. About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of experience handling complex real estate transactions, including joint ventures, acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, real estate M&A, and financings. The practice represents a diverse range of clients—from private equity funds and S&P 500 REITs to financial institutions—with a focus on the hospitality and healthcare sectors.

Associates will collaborate across offices on high-value projects, contributing to all stages of the transaction lifecycle, including structuring, drafting, negotiation, and closing.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in complex real estate transactions

• Exposure to joint ventures, financings, acquisitions, and development projects

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school

• Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills

• Ability to manage multiple matters efficiently and work collaboratively with colleagues and clients

• Demonstrated professionalism and ability to handle confidential information with discretion
