Summary: Performs preventive and corrective maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment. Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical problems. Performs installations and modifications to equipment. Ensures that all machinery and equipment is in safe working order.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Performs preventive maintenance on a variety of machinery and equipment, including but not limited to:
    • Motors
    • Pumps
    • Conveyors
    • Generators
    • HVAC systems
  • Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical and electrical problems.
  • Performs installations and modifications to equipment.
  • Ensures that all machinery and equipment is in safe working order.
  • Maintains accurate records of all maintenance activities.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2+ years of experience as a maintenance mechanic.
  • Experience in food production facility preferred.
  • Familiarity with a variety of hand tools and power equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand blueprints and schematics.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical problems.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
