Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and independent Senior Desktop Support Technician to join our dynamic IT team. This position is based in either Symphony Towers, Downtown San Diego, or La Jolla, with responsibilities covering IT support for multiple buildings across the San Diego region. As the sole and senior Desktop Support Technician for the area, you will play a crucial role in providing Level I/2 desktop support to a diverse user base.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive desktop support to end-users across 27 locations in the San Diego region.
  • Work independently and efficiently, handling a diverse range of desktop support issues.
  • Interface with all levels of the organization, with a particular emphasis on providing exceptional customer service.
  • Represent the IT department professionally and effectively communicate with executives.
  • Manage and prioritize projects related to end-user support and IT initiatives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and serve as a liaison between end-users and the IT department.
  • Utilize project management skills to ensure the timely and successful completion of tasks.
  • Actively participate in troubleshooting and problem-solving, ensuring swift resolution of technical issues.
  • Regularly travel to different locations for on-site support; mileage will be reimbursed.


  • Proven experience in desktop support, with solid technical skills working with end-users.
  • Strong customer service orientation and the ability to interact professionally with individuals at all organizational levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently with limited supervision.
  • Experience interfacing with executives and providing support in a professional environment.
  • Project management skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and willingness to travel to various locations within the San Diego region.
  • Familiarity with supporting a user base of 273 individuals across 27 locations is a plus.
