General Description

Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, the Maintenance Department Lead directs and coordinates the maintenance Department. They will lead the maintenance group under the Maintenance Manager in order to ensure PMs, breakdowns, and all other maintenance-related activities are performed to the expectation of the plant. Additionally, the Maintenance Department Lead will help the maintenance mechanics install, maintain, and troubleshoot production equipment and general building maintenance as needed to ensure the operational success of the plant.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent & Associate’s Degree or Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Maintenance or related
• 5-7+ years’ experience in industrial mechanical/electrical troubleshooting in a manufacturing facility preferability in food manufacturing as well as leadership experience
• Must be available to work weekend
• Advanced mechanical, welding, electrical, pneumatic, HVAC, plumbing, and building maintenance experience
• Additional education and certifications in mechanical engineering or related would be helpful for this position.
