HVAC Service Department Manager

Our client is seeking an experienced HVAC Service Department Manager to oversee all aspects of our service operations. If you have 10+ years of industry experience and a strong technical background in HVAC, we want to hear from you!

What You’ll Do:

· Department Leadership: Oversee the development, growth, and profitability of the Service Department, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

· Team Management: Supervise and mentor staff responsible for estimating, planning, executing, and managing service-related projects.

· Client Satisfaction: Ensure projects and work orders are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget, driving high levels of client satisfaction.

· Cross-Department Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to facilitate seamless operations and efficient data transfer for billing and maintenance.

· Customer Engagement: Assess customer needs, prepare and review estimates and proposals, and present tailored service solutions.

· Technical Support: Provide training and technical support for field service technicians on HVAC systems to enhance their skills and effectiveness.

· Record Keeping: Maintain accurate service records, Planned Maintenance Agreements (PMA), and inventory using company systems.

· Relationship Building: Develop and sustain long-term relationships with contractors, clients, and industry stakeholders.

· Safety Culture: Promote a “Zero Accident Culture” by adhering to safety protocols and OSHA standards, ensuring a safe working environment.

· Supervisory Responsibilities: Execute supervisory responsibilities in accordance with company policies and applicable laws.

What We’re Looking For:

· Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of relevant HVAC industry experience.

· Education: Associate or bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred but not required.

· Technical Knowledge: Strong technical understanding of HVAC systems with prior field experience.

· Financial Acumen: Proficiency in analyzing Profit & Loss statements and related financial documents.
