Minimum Experience:

◼ 1 year of nursing experience within a hospital (open to Nursing Home/Senior Living experience)

◼ Experience in high volume pace setting

◼ BSN or ADN

Patient Ratio:

◼ Med Surg 1:4 is the goal (right now it’s 1:5-6)

◼ ER 1:3

Cross Training:

◼ MedSurg is divided into specialisms, MedSurg RNs can float to other specialisms depending on needs

◼ Opportunities after 6 months to transfer to new units like ICU/ ER/ Critical Care where they can be trained on new experience

Salary Range- MedSurg:

Minimum - 1 yr+ of nursing experience = $38/hr

Mid - 5 to 10 years of nursing experience = $47/hr

Max – 10 to 15+ years of nursing experience = $56/h

Salary Range- ER:

Minimum - 1 yr+ of nursing experience = $40/hr

Mid - 5 to 10 years of nursing experience = $50/hr

Max – 10 to 15+ years of nursing experience = $58/hr

Sign-On Bonus - Day Shift:

1st installment = $1500

2nd installment = $1000

3rd installment = $1000

4th installment = $1500

Sign-on Bonus - Night Shift:

1st installment = $2000

2nd installment = $2000

3rd installment = $2000

4th installment = $4000

Relocation Bonus:

51 – 100 miles away - $1,000

101 – 300 miles - $2,000

301 – 500 miles - $3,000

501 – 1000 - $4,000

1001+ miles - $5,000
