Position: Accounting Manager


Summary: The Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department. This role ensures the accuracy of financial records and compliance with regulations and supports financial planning and audits. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to lead a team are essential for success in this position.


Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily operations of the accounting department, including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, and bank reconciliations

• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness

• Ensure all accounting practices comply with relevant laws, standards, and company policies

• Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring all deadlines are met

• Coordinate with auditors during internal and external audits, and provide necessary reports and documentation

• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement

• Supervise, mentor, and develop accounting staff, providing guidance and support as needed

• Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial plans, working closely with other departments

• Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and accuracy within the accounting function

• Maintain and update accounting systems and software to support financial operations and reporting
