Position Overview: As a People Officer/Career Coach, you will play a pivotal role in helping the organization's team members navigate their career paths and achieve their professional aspirations. You will provide personalized guidance and support, utilizing your expertise in career development strategies and your ability to foster a positive and empowering coaching environment and a company culture. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about helping others succeed and thrive in their careers.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide guidance and support to employees on various HR-related matters, including performance management, career development, and employee relations.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
  • Conduct one-on-one coaching sessions with employees to assess their career goals, strengths, and areas for development.
  • Provide personalized guidance and support to help employees identify and pursue career opportunities and professional goals that align with their interests, skills, and values.
  • Assist employees in developing and refining their personal brand and professional image.
  • Collaborate with employees to create actionable career development plans and set achievable goals.
  • Utilize assessment tools and exercises to help employees gain clarity and self-awareness in their career journey.
  • Coordinate and conduct training and development programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Oversee employee engagement initiatives, including employee recognition programs and team-building activities.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to management on HR issues, providing strategic guidance and recommendations.
  • Manage employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and other employee perks.
  • Maintain employee records and HR databases, ensuring confidentiality and data accuracy.
  • Stay up-to-date on HR trends and best practices, and make recommendations for continuous improvement.
  • Ability to build a good work culture for the company and its employees.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • 8-10 years of progressive HR experience, with a focus on employee coaching and development.
  • Experience working with US-based companies is preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Proven ability to coach and mentor employees to help them reach their full potential.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS software.
  • HR certification (e.g., PHR, SPHR) preferred but not required.
