Responsibilities

  • Ensure a safe work environment by complying with company, state, and federal safety regulations while researching and recommending maintenance planning software.
  • Develop and oversee a preventive maintenance schedule for all production equipment, coordinating with the maintenance team to ensure optimal functionality and providing feedback to the plant engineer on completed actions.
  • Coordinate with the purchasing manager on spare parts, ensure proper storage and usage of maintenance tools, maintain service records, and support process automation and administrative tasks.
  • Perform assigned duties while maintaining professionalism, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, assigning manpower as needed, and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Work in varying environments (hot, cold, or wet), operate shop equipment, weld safely, and ensure compliance with OSHA regulations.
  • Operate hydraulic, air, and electric hand tools while troubleshooting and maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems in high-speed manufacturing environments.
