Job Responsibilities:

The Parts Acquisition Group in the organization’s Component Engineering and Assurance Office is seeking an individual to perform inventory control functions. This position will receive, store, issue, and ship electronic parts following the organization’s rules and guidelines, will verify the items against paperwork during receiving process, and report anomalies. Duties include participating in physical inventory; helping resolve shortages and/or inventory problems, dispositioning and processing scrap and excess materials, and other organizational needs. The selected candidate will use Oracle Discreet Manufacturing (ODM) modules and other software applications; will interface with Quality Assurance (QA), customers, and auditors.

Required Skills:

• Must be able to work full-time and have a 9/80 work schedule

• Strong computer skills, knowledge, and experience with MS Office, and databases

• Strong attention to details

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Ability to lift and shelve boxes weighing up to 40 pounds

• Good oral and written communication skills

Desired Skills:

• Previous experience with the appropriate receipt, handling, and storage of high-reliability electronic flight parts

• Familiarity with electronic flight part procurement numbers, manufacturers, and relevant documentation

• Proficient with common computer tools, including databases

• Self-motivated, methodical, and efficient work characteristics

• Demonstrated ability to meet schedules and work under high pressure

• Exhibits good oral and written communication skills
