What You’ll Do:
· Project Leadership: Supervise and mentor Project Managers, Engineers, and Coordinators in contract administration, change orders, and procurement processes.
· Financial Oversight: Authorize project transactions, purchase requisitions, and change requests to ensure financial accountability.
· Collaboration: Work closely with Superintendents to effectively plan and coordinate project activities.
· Safety and Compliance: Monitor project safety, productivity, profitability, and compliance with schedules, ensuring high client satisfaction.
· Stakeholder Engagement: Coordinate with General Contractors and design teams to ensure project objectives are met.
· Relationship Management: Manage subcontractor relationships and negotiate change orders while maintaining strong partnerships.
· Documentation: Ensure the timely organization and completion of project documentation, including daily reports and compliance records.
· Communication: Serve as the primary liaison with owners, clients, and contractors, negotiating changes and resolving issues professionally.
· Meeting Facilitation: Conduct Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings, promoting a safe and respectful work environment.
· Regulatory Adherence: Obtain necessary permits and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
· Safety Culture: Promote a “Zero Accident Culture” by developing and implementing safety protocols in alignment with OSHA standards
What We’re Looking For:
· Education: A Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
· Experience: 7-10 years in project management, particularly in HVAC, mechanical, piping, plumbing, industrial, and sheet metal sectors.
· Skills: Proficiency in construction cost control, scheduling, estimating, and engineering principles, combined with exceptional communication and leadership abilities.
· Industry Insight: A strong grasp of vendor relationships and construction industry practices, including design/build processes.
