Location: You will be based in the Midwest and the work will take place at various processing plants located throughout the Midwest. This position will require travel to all locations

Responsibilities:

  • Oversee electrical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet all required specifications.
  • Design and install conduit systems (e.g., rigid, EMT, and flexible) tailored to various electrical needs.
  • Set up, troubleshoot, and maintain control systems, including PLCs, relays, motor starters, and drives.
  • Install and manage structured cabling systems, including Ethernet and fiber optic networks.
  • Draft and provide detailed designs for electrical layouts, conduit systems, and network cabling.
  • Enforce lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols and maintain exceptional safety standards across all tasks.
  • Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to ensure efficient project execution.
  • Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and company policies.
  • Keep comprehensive project documentation, such as schedules, budgets, reports, and design plans.
  • Conduct inspections and quality control checks to ensure project excellence.

Qualifications:

  • At least 5+ years of experience as an electrician, specializing in control systems, conduit design, and network cable installations.
  • Certified/licensed electrician.
  • Extensive knowledge of control systems, including PLCs, relays, motor starters, and drives.
  • Proven ability to design and implement conduit systems and structured cabling, with experience creating detailed technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of lockout/tagout (LOTO) procedures and a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Competent in project management tasks, such as scheduling, budget planning, and resource allocation.
  • Proficient in interpreting and creating blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Preferred: Experience in industrial or commercial electrical projects.
  • Preferred: Knowledge of relevant electrical codes, cabling standards, and safety guidelines.
