Job Title: Quality Manager
Reports To: Company's General Manager
The primary responsibility of Quality Managers is to ensure products meet quality and efficiency standards set by the company. The Quality Manager will ensure that manufacturing production lines run smoothly and generate a consistently suitable output for their employers. This position will oversee production staff and improve upon production processes through continuous auditing and process evaluation to increase efficiency in the company.
Responsibilities
* Lead all efforts of quality and continues improvement teams at the company
* Drive improved SOP’s for all facets on manufacturing and assembly of integration of all enclosure systems
* Responsible for all quality, ISO and audit functions to drive continuous improvement
* Work with operations team to drive improved welding processes where certified welding is required
* Work with all internal and external teams to identify, capture and correct all non- conformance issues
* Track cost of quality and key performance metrics
* Support all third party/customer process audits
* Attend monthly customer conference calls concerning quality and field service issues
* Manage quality team to drive efficiency while supporting operations teams
* Audit updated processes to ensure corrective actions and current processes are being followed.
Requirements
* Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business or a Science-related Field
* 3+ years’ experience in manufacturing, production and quality assurance
* Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office, Excel Spreadsheets
* Reliable, organized, detail oriented and able to function at high level in fast paced manufacturing environment
