RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify and evaluate farms and open land, conduct due diligence, project IRR, negotiate deals, secure financing, and finalize investments.
- Monitor financial performance of current investments, identify areas for improvement, assess risks, and ensure adequate insurance coverage.
- Research and evaluate investments in private equity, stocks, alternative assets, digital currencies, and private placements, with projected IRR.
- Manage all office accounting tasks, provide the CEO with key updates, analysis, and recommendations, and participate in meetings to review accounts and strategize on achieving company objectives.
- Manage personal holdings and oversee all accounting for the foundation, including selecting donation organizations and developing the foundation for each mission sequentially.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 5+ years of managerial experience in the USA
- Bachelor's or Master's in Agriculture, Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience in small companies with a stable job history and 5+ years of managerial experience in the USA.
- Skilled in managing teams of 5-10 and strong project management abilities to define, strategize, and implement successful plans.
- Strong decision-making, critical thinking, leadership, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledgeable in financial statement analysis, accounting principles, planning, budgeting, and IRR evaluation.
- Quick learner with excellent time management, advanced Excel skills, and outstanding organizational abilities.
- Experience in permanent crop farming is a plus.
- Expertise in farm acquisitions.
- Background in acquiring and developing real estate.
- Skilled in underwriting new investments.
- Experienced in overseeing money managers, financial advisors, and company stock portfolios.
- Proficient in investing in stocks, private equity, private placements, and alternative investments.
