We are looking for a detail-oriented Lead Generation / Lead Research Specialist to identify and qualify prospective customers for our products or services. The ideal candidate will be responsible for generating high-quality leads by researching target markets, identifying key contacts, and gathering necessary information to initiate outreach efforts. The Lead Generation Specialist will work closely with the sales and marketing teams to increase pipeline growth and ensure leads are well-qualified before being passed on.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Research & Identification: Conduct in-depth research to identify potential leads within specified target markets. Utilize a variety of sources such as LinkedIn, company websites, industry publications, and lead databases to gather relevant information.
- Data Collection: Collect and maintain accurate data on prospective leads, including contact details (name, job title, email, phone number), company size, industry, location, and business needs.
- Lead Qualification: Assess and qualify leads based on predefined criteria (e.g., company size, decision-making authority, budget, and alignment with product offerings) to ensure they fit the target profile.
- CRM Management: Input and manage lead data within CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot), ensuring that all data is up-to-date and accurately reflects the status of each lead.
- Collaboration with Sales & Marketing Teams: Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to align lead generation efforts with ongoing campaigns, strategies, and goals.
- Outreach Support: Assist with outreach activities by providing sales representatives with essential lead data, insights, and reports on research findings.
- Market Trend Analysis: Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and market shifts to identify new opportunities for lead generation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in lead generation, lead research, or a related field (1-3 years preferred).
- Familiarity with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) and lead generation tools (e.g., LinkedIn Sales Navigator, ZoomInfo, Apollo).
- Strong research skills: Ability to identify, analyze, and prioritize potential leads using a variety of online sources.
- Excellent communication skills: Ability to collaborate with sales and marketing teams and relay important information clearly.
- Attention to detail: Meticulous in data collection and lead qualification to ensure high-quality leads.
- Self-starter: Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with minimal supervision.
- Tech-savvy: Comfortable using a range of software tools and databases to manage and research leads.
- Knowledge of the industry (optional): Prior experience or familiarity with the industry is an advantage.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience in US B2B lead generation or market research.
