Job Overview

Our client is seeking an Accounting Manager to oversee and manage key accounting operations. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely and accurate preparation of financial statements and reports. The Accounting Manager will lead accounting functions, with a focus on Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Cash Management, Customer Credit, and Balance Sheet Management. Additionally, you will mentor and develop a small team, promoting their professional growth and success.

Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting (MBA preferred).
  • CPA certification is a plus.
  • 5-10 years of accounting management experience, with a strong emphasis on Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) within an integrated systems environment, including previous supervisory experience.
  • Experience at a Big 4 accounting firm is an advantage.
  • Solid understanding of GAAP and relevant accounting standards.
  • Experience in the Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) or commodity-based industries is preferred.
