Our client, a leading food manufacturing organization, is seeking a Maintenance Manager. The Maintenance Manager directs and manages all electrical and mechanical services for the facility and oversees the maintenance of all production machinery/equipment, physical plant, utilities, and grounds. This role ensures compliance with federal, state, and local regulations and company policies while achieving established goals and objectives. The Maintenance Manager is a key member of the management team.

  • Plan and coordinate maintenance activities with supervisors for timely, cost-effective, and safe completion.
  • Develop and control maintenance plans and budgets.
  • Implement cost-effective preventative maintenance programs and lead the Preventative Maintenance pillar.
  • Coordinate with outside vendors for projects or repairs.
  • Maintain adequate inventories of supplies and spare parts.
  • Minimize labor, maintenance, and repair costs while reducing equipment downtime.
  • Oversee equipment adjustments to maximize production.
  • Direct equipment changeovers and maintenance according to schedules.
  • Ensure compliance with laws and company policies.
  • Provide training, direction, and leadership to supervisors and technicians.
  • Coordinate with other departments for purchasing, processing, and inventory control.
  • Maintain cleanliness, safety, and productivity standards.
  • Ensure compliance with quality, food safety, and HACCP programs.


  • College/technical degree in a related field preferred.
  • 3-5 years of supervisory maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in the food industry.
  • Knowledge of scheduling, budgets, equipment, and production processes.
