About the Role:
We are looking for a qualified and motivated Senior Project Engineer to add to its team. This position will be tasked with designing and leading cutting-edge implementation and enhancement projects for our growing client base. Part of your time will be technical – designing networks, security, servers, and other core functions. Another part of your day will be working with the client services team to scope and describe solutions for our clients. And all of your time will be spent with people who love to take care of each other and our clients and have fun doing it!

You should have a thorough knowledge of network design with a Microsoft focus, including connectivity and security through such products as Azure and Microsoft 365, Microsoft Windows Server, Remote Desktop (RDP), Hyper-V, SQL Server, and SonicWALL. We want your skill and ability to take a new client from a lousy network somebody else left them and transition them quickly to a brand-new shiny environment with all of their old data, and none of their old problems.

You will be able to work with the latest technology, in fact if you do not love technology, do not even bother applying. We love it and work with it every day to get more out of it for our clients. We build, host, and manage the networks for dozens of midsize businesses in the region, and you will be leading those projects to get them in place and make sure they work for the long term without all of the noise.


Role Specifics:

Implement preapproved technical services on clients’ core infrastructure including Windows Server platforms, Azure environments and other cloud based or on premises network components consisting of:

· Windows Server (2012, 2016, 2019)

· Active Directory (Build, Administration, GPO’s,etc.)

· Exchange / Office 365 Implementations (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive)

· SQL Server Builds

· DNS Administration / DHCP Administration

· Hyper-V and Virtualization technologies

· SonicWALL Firewalls

· Dell / HP / Cisco Switches and other Network Technologies

· Storage Arrays

· Proactively research, diagnose, troubleshoot, and identify solutions to resolve project issues

· Serve as an escalation point for issues that develop into complex issues or require a higher technical guidance

· Provide periodic support to Engineers in the field / HelpDesk (i.e., reviewing information, following up with vendors, etc.)

· Provides after hours and weekend on-call support (as needed)


Technical Requirements:

Deep knowledge and experience implementing, administering, and supporting the following technologies:

· Hyper-V and Virtualization technologies

· MS-Windows Server / MS-Exchange Server / MS-Windows RDS Server

· MS-SQL Server / MS-Active Directory / MS Group Policy / MS Windows Professional & Enterprise+

· Fluent in the following applications: MS-Outlook, MS-Teams, MS-SharePoint, MS-OneDrive, MS-O365 / Outlook


Typical Experience:

·4-6 years’ experience implementing, supporting, and troubleshooting multi-server Windows Domain environments (On Premises and Azure Environments)

· 4-6 years’ experience supporting and troubleshooting Windows Domain desktops

· Experience working directly with clients to satisfy ongoing requests

· Experience working directly with technical managers as well as non-technical end users

· Fluent in Client Service concepts
