Job Overview

Our client is a leader in property management and is seeking a Property Manager to oversee and enhance Property and maintenance services across residential and commercial properties in Los Angeles County. This role is essential in ensuring smooth operations, coordinating schedules, and maintaining high property standards. You will work closely with the maintenance supervisor, technicians, and vendors to address property needs efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect, manage and schedule maintenance services, coordinating efforts with in-house teams and external vendors.
  • Provide administrative support to the maintenance supervisor, ensuring streamlined workflows and accurate documentation.
  • Oversee work order processes, ensuring timely and effective resolutions for maintenance requests.
  • Address minor maintenance tasks, including replacing light bulbs and cleaning HVAC air filters.
  • Conduct Section 8 unit inspections to ensure compliance with housing regulations.
  • Perform regular property inspections, identifying and resolving maintenance issues promptly.
  • Coordinate scheduling for cleaning services, electricians, plumbers, HVAC specialists, and other vendors.
  • Develop and implement maintenance plans to improve operational efficiency.
  • Offer exceptional customer service to tenants, addressing concerns and inquiries with professionalism.
  • Travel to properties 80% of the time, with weekly in-office responsibilities.

Qualifications

  • Prior experience in residential property maintenance, remodeling, and coordination or a related role is preferred.
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Familiarity with maintenance procedures, vendor management, and Section 8 inspections.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; maintenance management software experience, Software YARDI and AppFolio, is a plus.
  • Reliable transportation with a valid driver's license, current registration, and insurance.
  • Bi-lingual in Spanish-speaking ability is highly preferred.

Schedule

  • Full-time role, Monday through Friday, with occasional flexibility as needed.
  • In-office work required weekly; travel to properties up to 80% of the time.
