Carpenter

Responsibilities

· Assist in framing of walls using both metal and wood studs

· Installation, finishing, and sanding of drywall to prepare for painting

· Install structures and fixtures, such as windows, frames, and trim, or hardware, using carpenter's hand and power tools

· Demolition / Breakdown of existing structures (drywall, studs, flooring, electric, plumbing, etc.)

· Follow the corporate established safety rules, regulations, and guidelines.

· Able to accurately comply with the instructions and requests provided by the Project Foreman

· Maintain cooperative working relationships

· Compliance with the company policies and procedures

Qualifications

· Must be able to pass a drug test

· High school diploma or GED

· 3-5 years experience working as a carpenter or apprentice in a commercial, residential, or facilities operations setting is a plus.

· Framing, Painting and Drywall – must be able to hang and finish. Patch work is common on many of our projects and requires bag mud to be used.

· Safely operate hand and power tools

· Perform heavy physical labor (i.e. lifting of equipment or materials up to 50 lbs.)
