We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Draftsperson/CAD Drafter to join our high-end residential team in West Haverstraw, NY. The ideal candidate will have proficiency in AutoCAD design, strong woodworking knowledge, and the ability to effectively collaborate with in-house teams and project managers.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with in-house millworkers, carpenters, and project managers to produce detailed drawings based on client specifications.
• Collaborate with millworkers, carpenters, and project managers to translate client specifications into detailed and accurate AutoCAD drawings.
• Partner with site management to prioritize and manage renovation and construction projects, ensuring smooth execution.
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritizing tasks and meeting deadlines efficiently.

• Conduct occasional site visits to verify measurements and ensure project accuracy.
• Communicate clearly and concisely with internal teams and project managers, providing regular updates and addressing inquiries.

Qualifications/Skills:

• Proficiency in AutoCAD design is a must. Experience with Adobe PDF is preferred.
• Solid understanding of woodworking principles for creating detailed shop drawings, submission drawings, and RFQ sets.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and conduct field surveys.
• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with a diverse team.
• Excellent multitasking and problem-solving skills.
• Strong Microsoft Office skills.
