We are looking for a motivated and adaptable IT Depot Specialist with a background in shipping, receiving, and inventory management. While prior experience in these areas is preferred, we value enthusiasm and a willingness to learn, as we are open to training individuals who exhibit a solid technical aptitude.

  • Inventory Management: Assist in maintaining accurate records of IT hardware inventory, including tracking stock levels, conducting regular audits, and updating databases.
  • Shipping and Receiving: Collaborate with the team to coordinate the shipping and receiving of IT equipment, ensuring timely and secure delivery. Verify shipments for accuracy and completeness.
  • Quality Control: Work closely with team members to perform quality checks on incoming and outgoing equipment to ensure adherence to established standards and specifications.
  • Asset Tracking: Contribute to the implementation and maintenance of a comprehensive asset tracking system to monitor the lifecycle of IT assets, from procurement to disposal.
  • Deployment Support: Provide support to IT teams in the coordination of hardware deployment, ensuring proper configuration and functionality.
  • Vendor Interaction: Collaborate with vendors to manage the procurement and replacement of IT equipment, negotiating favorable terms and ensuring timely deliveries.
  • Documentation: Assist in generating and maintaining documentation related to inventory levels, shipping and receiving activities, and equipment configurations.
  • Troubleshooting: Support troubleshooting for hardware-related issues and work closely with technical teams for problem resolution.

Qualifications:

  • Basic understanding of inventory management, shipping, and receiving processes.
  • Strong technical aptitude and an eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies
  • Experienced with IT hardware and equipment.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
  • Effective communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in using Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to lift and move IT equipment when necessary.
